The Bar Association will be hosting a DVD CLE on Friday, April 29, 2016, in the courtroom for the 27th Judicial District Court, 2nd Floor of the Bell County Judicial Complex.
$75 for 4.5 hours of participatory credit, including one hour of ethics. Criminal Law 101 is the topic, a flyer with additional details attached. This is one of the most cost effective ways to get CLE credit locally.

Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the course, but will receive a flash drive.

This year, participants will be debating the application of Miranda rights in the high school setting. Students from across Central Texas will test their appellate advocacy skills in the 5th Annual MG Lawrence H. Williams Moot Court Competition.
Volunteer judges are needed to hear oral arguments, evaluate and score the student’s performance, as well as provide feedback to students.
This unique opportunity is a valuable and memorable experience for both students and judges alike.
